Now, this may actually be the next best thing in the world of car seat manufacturing. The safe sell technology allows the car seat to have lower center of gravity upon the collision which means that there is lower head excursion and forward rotation of the body. All this will protect your dear baby from injuring his or her head and neck.
- Since the car seat has the side wings, they might make the process of taking your baby in and out a little bit more complicated, since these wings just wrap around the baby. That’s the price you have to pay for increased safety levels.
- It is shorter than the predecessor (Britax Boulevard 65) by one inch which will decrease the time it can be used rear facing forum for facing by a couple of months.
- We don’t understand why some people complain about this, as we easily got this tool approximately 30° to the back, but some folks said that they didn’t find Boulevard 70 to be reclinable enough. Maybe just some babies prefer lower reclined car seats.*shrug*
Britax Boulevard 70 and Airplanes?
Britax Boulevard 70 CS will fit just fine into aeroplanes, in your baby will be fine as long as the flight is not too long (two hours for less – no car seat is significantly better in this aspect). You have to do note that if you put it rear facing it will not be possible for the passenger in from the field to recline himself. However, it shouldn’t be a problem – just talk to the passenger in front of you to make him informed. Moreover, some aeroplane seats just don’t recline in the first place.

The Notable differences between Britax Boulevard 70 and Britax Boulevard 65
There’s really not that much difference between the two models. There is more leg space in the 70th version, and some 0,75″ increase in the top slots. Also, Britax Boulevard 70 rear faces to 40 and forward faces to 70, while Britax Boulevard 65 rear faces to 35 and forward faces to 65 only.
